Although the 14k gold-filled components are waterproof, freshwater pearls are delicate. To preserve their natural luster, avoid prolonged exposure to water, chlorine, salt water, perfume, lotions, harsh chemicals, and abrasive cleaners. 

After exposure to moisture, gently pat the bracelet dry with a soft, nonabrasive cloth. Store it separately in a clean, dry place, and operate the slider bolo gently to protect the chain and closure.
